Came to Unity Housing Support: March 2022 - To Date.
L.L. Came to us as a homeless young lady suffering with Anxiety and Depression. L.L used to drink until she fell unconscious as a coping mechanism to allow her to sleep.

After carrying out her initial support plan and agreeing actions with her we arranged for specialist support services relating to her drinking and counselling relating to her Anxiety and Depression. We arranged this to be delivered remotely (which was her preference).

Following specialist support and weekly supervision L.L. is now in a much better position than she has been previously. Due to the progress made, she is now in conversations with social services regarding a plan to reunify with her daughter, who is currently in the care of others.

L.L. has stopped drinking, is still engaging with specialist services and is now having weekly contact with her daughter. Whilst she still has some distance to travel, she is on track to regain her health, independence and her family.
